“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
– Winston Churchill
Canyon Rim Children’s Center is more than an excellent preschool.
It is a valuable community resource.
- Since its founding in September 1998 CRCC has served well over 850 families, many of them more than once.
- CRCC employs two certified Mentor Teachers. The Child Development Departments of Mesa College, Southwestern College, Grossmont College and the Cuyamaca College District rely on our Mentor Teachers to help train students through their internship programs.
- CRCC also trains student interns from the Patrick Henry High School Regional Occupational Program. (ROP) as they obtain college credits in Early Childhood Education.
- CRCC teachers are in regular communication with the local elementary schools, especially kindergarten teachers in order to coordinate the transition from our prekindergarten program to kindergarten.
- CRCC and its families were annual supporters of and participants in the Navajo Community SpringFest.
Canyon Rim Children’s Center is proud to be a valued resource for Allied Gardens and the surrounding communities.
